The organizers of Farm Aid announced today that the 2022 festival is coming to Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday, September 24. The festival will take place at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek.

Farm Aid is an all-day festival that brings together incredible music, good food, and hands-on activities to get folks in touch with the roots of our food.

This year’s festival will show how farmers are fighting climate change. They will share their stories on the Farm Aid stage and throughout the event.

Every year, Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, and Margo Price organize a Farm Aid festival to bring together a wide range of musicians, farmers, and fans for one goal: keeping family farmers on their land.

Since 1985, Farm Aid has raised more than $64 million to help family farmers thrive all over the country while inspiring millions of people to take part in the Good Food Movement.

Farm Aid 2022 will be at Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, which marks the second time that Farm Aid has brought its festival to the state.

“I’ve always said that family farmers strengthen us all. Farmers in North Carolina, across the Southeast, and all over the country are growing solutions to our toughest challenges, including climate change,” said Willie Nelson in a statement. “We’re bringing Farm Aid here to highlight their hard work and celebrate the ways we can all join farmers to help.”

Farm Aid 2022 will reunite farmers and musician activists. Performances will be by Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson & Family, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, and Margo Price, as well as Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Allison Russell, Charley Crockett, Brittney Spencer, and Particle Kid.

A limited number of presale tickets will be available beginning at 10 am EDT on Wednesday, July 27. The presale ends at 11:59 pm on Thursday, July 28 (or until presale tickets are sold out).

Tickets for Farm Aid 2022 go on sale July 30 at 10 am EDT. Ticket prices range from $75 to $315 and will be available for purchase at LiveNation.com.

Farm Aid has partnered with QuintRooms to assist festivalgoers with their lodging needs for Farm Aid 2022. Every room night booked through this QuintRooms link generates a $2 contribution for Farm Aid’s HOMEGROWN Youthmarket.

“Everywhere we go, we hear from festivalgoers that there’s nothing quite like the Farm Aid experience,” Carolyn Mugar, Farm Aid Executive Director said. “Farmers and eaters are inspired and empowered at the intersection of music and family farm food to support the source of our food — family farmers — and to join farmers in fighting for our soil and water.”

Each Farm Aid festival features a HOMEGROWN Concessions®, the first-of-its-kind model for featuring family farm-identified, local and organic foods at major concert events which fed more than 283,000 festivalgoers since its introduction in 2007.

It has served as a model for entertainment events, including the Super Bowl and a variety of music festivals and venues that have embraced the Good Food Movement in concessions. Backstage, artists and crew enjoy HOMEGROWN Catering with the same family farm standards. We use compostable service products and promote composting to festivalgoers and artists with a goal of zero waste.

The HOMEGROWN Village is like a mini festival within a festival! In the Village, festivalgoers explore hands-on activities that engage all of their senses in the Farm Aid mission. Hear farmers and artists talk together about pressing issues on the FarmYard Stage, attend demonstrations to learn agrarian skills and celebrate the culture of agriculture in the HOMEGROWN Skills tent, connect with farmers and organizations doing critical food and farm work all over the country and so much more.

Based on the latest local guidelines, attendees are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test and/or vaccination for entry into this event. In the best interest of fans and staff, Farm Aid encourages festivalgoers to wear a mask throughout the event.

Be sure to check FarmAid.org for the latest updates and guidelines as entry requirements are subject to change. No refunds will be offered due to changed requirements.
